    Its not cheap but its cheaper then buying new 4" lips.

    These wheels are two piece, barrel and lip is one and face is the other, compared to three piece where lip barrel and face all come apart. You could get a shop to cut them off and reweld new lips but not gonna be cheap.
    Try to see if a shop can repair the imperfections you currently have.

    wow man all your guys wheels look so sick. i have a e46 sportswagon not fully slammed yett, baltimore city roads are horrible.but how can i take my rim appart and get new lips or somthing? do i have to cut the wheel and get new lips welded? any links? i alreaddy cracked one lip really bad and second one is bentup.any suggestions?

    Slow and steady wins the race. Got sidetracked restoring a set of enkeis. Bolts were polished then nickel finished.

    What I did was hit the bolts in slightly with a hammer covered in a towel. Then when the splines are just slightly in I tightened them from the back and it pulls them down.

    The face should be snug and I would just hit them from the back until they seat mostly in and begin tightening bolts, the face will seat in eventually

    1st: Don't smash them down, they should be long enought that you just tighten them from 'inside'

    2nd: Depending on coating, if you sandplast or some otherway take off the original coating then yes there should be coating aswell..
