Blasphemy for talking about it and not having any pictures, but as a (free) temporary basket, I was using a plastic bread rack like this.
Only picture of one I could find. But it actually worked out pretty well and didn't look all that bad. I snagged it from the back of a Safeway one night and secured it to my bars with a few nuts and bolts.
