What racks are you guys using for the 6ers, they look hella nice. I didnt think they made racks for e24s.

I don't know what model mine is, I got the whole setup for real cheap used.

All you need is some feet (towers) that attatch to deep rain gutters and some load bars, and voila. I think the feet from a E28 5 or E23 7 series will work the same. Looks like EtownC has the new style fairing, and I have the old style one.

I say go for it. I'd do a light wood like mine on that silver color. If done right it could look hella sick on an Avant.

It could be sick to stain/treat the wood too.... So many possibilities. This might have to happen.
