this thread has started my hunt for an e28, i had an 84 528i as my first car i wish i never sold it


my e30 could be my daily & an e28 as the project

63, please ditch those headlights. it looks like anything but 'sleeper' when the eyes are SO wide open. please don't take it wrong.

Well, there is always Spax springs and dampers

Not really - You'd have to cut at least 1.5 coils from the front Spax springs in order to tuck tire on 17s. My H&Rs are cut in half. However, the shocks should keep severe bouncing at bay. I'll be picking up a set as soon as my tax return rolls in... I hope.

Nothing readily available, technically. Any coilover will require modification of the front struts. However, with decent shocks, you can get decently low and not bounce on cut sport springs (H&R, Eibach, etc.).
