      • Hey guys, first post on Stanceworks! I just inherited a 1991 W126 Mercedes 420 SEL & just scanned through all these pages but am dieing to find information on where you guys are getting the knowledge to bag/stance these earlier model cars. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome. I'm only savy in the Audi/Vw world but trying to start putting the pieces together in the Mercedes stance scene! Thanks guys!

        • 90% of these cars are on cut springs, no joke, its a lot more of a common practice with Mercs then VW's. But on the plus side, MB uses tightly wound linear springs unlike loose progressives on VW, so cutting a coil or 2 off isn't really as detromental on an MB as on a VW or honda...
