I hope I can land a job soon so I can get the stance going before the summer, and all the other styling I have in mind for it

                    • Some real nice cars in here to get me inspired!

I have a question for the Merc enthusiasts- Why are many of the older style Merc's not fitted flush or overly low? Is it just a thing where most owners prefer a more traditional look, or is there a technical reason?

I ask because I am considering buying an older Merc (currently a few for sale locally- clean '71 2-door, Mint '68 4-door, and a tidy '81 4-door) and I have a vision of one statically low with flushed rims. I think it would be real head turner and really have road presence. But nearly all i see are either moderately low on mesh-style rims, or obviously bagged on standard MB caps. I will go on a limb and say i'm thinking as low as practically possible for me with flushed rims such as Diamond Racing. Can it be done!?

                      • if your gonna go with with widened steelies you gotta do the original hubcaps too

I haven't found any coilovers for my car anywhere, so I think the problem is that nobody manufactures coils for old Benzes Correct me if I'm wrong..
