what's to discuss boo boo? i made a statement and that was that. i didnt plan on talking about it. you know what? perhaps i read your comment the wrong way. yeaaaaah that's it. and in actuality you did NOT get sensitive. you were simply stating that maybe... just maaaaybe you should spray paint your hood. to which i should have replied...

Not lovin the red accents on the vette wheels. Wat do u think about a full polish?

i don't mind salad shooters, but that color scheme doesn't help a wheel that many consider very ugly.

also, the red and white (i think that's the color of the face) is reflected nowhere else on the car. try tying the colors together more.

Wheels are backwards. Strip that red off and polish em, or just opt for some '90 ZR1's and have 11"s out back.

The words "played out" are used by trendy tools. What looks good looks good, now or 5 years from now.

OP: Car looks good, the color scheme is a little crazy but if it works for you that's all that matters!

i don't know if i posted it here, or in my vortex thread and i'm too lazy to click back and check...so i'll say it anyway.

the faces have a really cool machined finish to them, i would **** to ruin that. the lips were chromed and pretty fucked up in person. i would have LOVED to leave them in their og finish, but it would look like ass outside of pictures. the seller was really good at hiding their flaws in pictures, and wasn't honest about the condition, kinda sucks but whatever.

face is machined, sorry about the shitty photography and salad shooters are the 16's, these are a differen't wheel. the 35th anni edition, hence the thread title.

i put them backwards on purpose. i think putting them on the "right" way looks backwards, this looks directional as it should be imo. as i said, they won't be polished. zri's have the exposed lugs, no thanks.

i agree...if i liked sawblades i would have put them on, idgaf about being "played", i like what i like. not that i would consider them to be played anway, i've only seen them on one other mkiv and an e36/46.

thanks, red is my favorite color, and love it on cars, however i've gotten over my bright wheels phase and will be doing my next set in silver/black/polish...probably wait until sotu for pics though.
