    So these are going on the wagon tomorrow.....i JUST got them finished.

    my god these have been such a bitch to restore but i couldn't be happier with them.

    thoughts? comments welcome!

                      Thanks man. it took forever, but started by having the wheels chem dipped to get rid of the factory PC. then i used 150 grit sanding wheels to get rid of the machining striations, then sanded at 220 dry, then wet for the remaining stages - 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000. then did a 5-8 rounds of Mothers polish by hand.

                      The orange has 4 coats of PPG clear over it but the lip has nothing over it so I can continue to polish it up whenever.

                          Yeah, I've seen this wagon come a long way, and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. So that comment was quite unnecessary.
