@rexB, you were the guy with the xb complaining about rubbing? I wanted to tell you to look at my tires but I didn't want to be rude. I had the black MINI, and I was rubbing HARD. Don't know if you saw, but I got a nice gouge in my sidewall.

Lol, I am that guy. I wasn't complaining about rubbing. Pretty amazed by it actually. Just concerned about the pieces of my tire coming apart flying and hitting the vehicles following me. Sorry Rex and Eugene haha. Just didn't want to have a blow out on Palisades parkway and cause some stupid traffic. I definitely respect the people that rub on a daily basis. I wouldn't last a day rubbing everywhere. BTW Post pics of the mini, didn't see it at the meet!!!

I rub sidewall on a daily basis. The key is that it has to be a caressing rub, rather than a violent one. And just to throw it out there, the rub in the beginning is more violent until the fender shapes itself into the tire, and the rubbing turns into a tire massage.

It's kind of like bottoming out: at first, you feel like you're messing up in life. Then, it becomes background noise and you think nothing of it. Bottoming out puts a smile on my face.

nahhh for you it would be a waste of time.... YES there were so many awesome cars that showed up but it was so short. if the meet on august 15 is a go... you should def head up if you can!
