  • New Interior (WARNING: domestic)

So, after 85k miles of daily driving, my door panels started to come off. What do you expect, it was made in America? After thinking about it, I decided to go with a high quality fabric (suede). After looking through black suede swatches, I came across something a little bit different. I fell in love, and bought enough to do both door panels 3 times in case i messed up. After finishing them both on the first try, I had enough to do the headliner.

The result: It came out great. The suede is a nice upgrade, and I was worried about the pattern being too loud, but I really love it.

Good work but just doesn't seem right in a mustang to me? Hmm

the fabric was bought off ebay. search suede and the color. it doesnt seem right on a mustang because mustang drivers are so narrow minded.

Looks good. Definitely never thought i'd see the day when something like this was done to a Mustang.

Mate, seriously, don't worry about what people think. If people like/love it great if they dislike/**** it balls to them. Its your car. Do it for you. Just keep on sharing your updates, for those who want to, to enjoy

What you did is actually pretty common with domestics. Everyone is all about american muscle where I live, and there are a lot of early mustangs and camaros with houndstooth and other patterns on the interior.

That said, i think it would do the fabric some justice if the silver on your dash was black, but good work nonetheless.
