Oh yeah, concave RPF1s make me wet, too bad they're not available in 4x100 (
I was contemplating CCWs at one point but realized paying 25% of what the car is worth on wheels alone would be a bit too much.

Thanks for the kind words people!

Here's an update on the Logan, now sporting custom 35mm spacers on the rear for a total of ET8. I'm finally happy the rear looks ok in terms of ET. Still have to drop the rear a bit, I'll check to see if I can either cut the springs or modify the mounts. I'm looking for about another 1/2" drop.
Here are some pictures, first one is a "before", followed by a couple of "afters".

Needs wider wheels but you're on the right track!

Winter time is coming to Europe. Time to get the car back to stock suspension to get me through the winter!
                .....Neah!
I don't need that, that's whack I said to myself. So I decided to keep it low. Honestly, It's pretty high as it is, even after the +2 inch drop so no need to go fluffy.
Anyway, I was contemplating getting wide steelies but lack of funding at the time made me go for stock ones. Yeah, they're 6" wide and the 185/65 tires look like wieners on them, but with the spacers I kept from the 17" setup, wheelgap has been pretty much put into a coma, if not killed altogether.
What I plan to do is maybe paint them another color. What do you guys think would go well with the dark undecided gray of my car?

I love seeing cars outside the "norm" being modded! Nice work

Almost there, mine is lower, hence less wheelgap
It is one of the better examples nonetheless.

So, new year, new winter setup
BBS RZ (BMW Crosslace): 15x7 all aroud, ET-24 up front, ET4 with 20mm spacers on the back. Also, BFG G-Force Winter tires in 185/65 R15, aka "mmm, hotdogs!"
There's some stretch in there but it's baaarely visible :P

Coming up next: fix bodywork issues, bigger better brakes, turbo conversion. Next year's going to be awesome

It's getting there, and looks pretty good!

A mate and I hired one of these for 2 weeks and drove up and down and all across Morocco in it. Over the Atlas mountains in the snow, and all up the coast from bottom to top....the poor thing took a beating! We got it from the rental yard with the plastic still on the seats, and a couple of miles on the clock.....no run in for that one, but it was a good little car.

Cool story , I know, just wanted to share.....honestly never thought I'd see a modded one!
