    Bought the car four and a half years ago while still in high school, so you can imagine the budget. All the work has been done by me or close friends with used, discounted, or bartered parts off Craigslist, Ebay, forum classifieds, or junkyard scores. Still plenty more to come.

    H&R Coilovers: $400
    JOM rear adjusters (moar low): $0
    Borbet Type CB: $125
    Thule Aero rack: $18 (with snowboard clamp, not pictured)
    Clear marker lights: $0
    3 front lips: $0
    Exhaust: $90
    Intake: $45
    Shifter: $35

    There's so much more to the list. I've saved so much money by refurbishing used parts or making parts myself.

    here are my cars.
    bigger plans for the e30
    but the budget car is the '73 220D
    i get more compliments on the '73 than any other car I've owned XD
    it has cut springs and stock wheels.
    car was a gift from dad
