I kept spotting references to this board over on The Car Lounge forums. After some lurking/browsing, I thought I'd join the masses.
Here are some shots of my ongoing project car. It's a '92 GTI 16V. For the VW enthusiasts, the 2nd generation is where VW got it "most right". I've wanted one since the 80's and finally brought one back to life about 2 years ago. Now that the heavy lifting is over, I just like to keep it looking good...a driving it.
The car isn't as dumped/tucked as other cars here, but I think it still sits pretty nice. It is riding on VMaxx coilovers and original BBS RM wheels (I refinished the centers) with JustMatz 2" polished aluminum lips. Tires are 195/45/15 Toyos giving a mild stretch.
