    I couldn't resist
    polished them myself
    they are not finished and not cleaned yet, but...

            yes. Once i find something that works. I mean i need some polishing stuff like Mothers Mag & Aliuminium polish to really make them shiny shiny. For now i'll just clean all of the compound and wax them.

              get this stuff called blue magic. its like 5 bucks from kragen . it works so well. rub it in with your hands and then buff it out with a microfiber.

                  Let me know how paint sticks to a perfectly smooth surface... i'm guessin not well.

                    i know there is some clear coat that does. But i'm begining to doubt i'll be doing that..too expensive and not worth it. It's better to repolish them every season or year

                      There are some obscure clear coats that stick, but not all that well, iirc what the local wheel refinisher told me.
                      Better bet is powder coating, I believe, but regardless what you do, it won't be nearly as shiny as unsealed.

                        Are you not planning on painting the centers? First fellow RF owner I've ran into who's actually OK with the way the RF centers look unmolested
