well it's my first attempt at a headliner this was just the test piece and it was done poorly because i didn't know what i was doing lol the rest will look better imo anyways

My suggestion; Keep practicing and check out some other patterns. You can make it look good, sometimes it takes a few ideas before one hits.

Step one: remove the part you will be wrapping.

I just got done removing all the pillar pieces as well.

very poorly done...i mean it doesnt even wrap around the edges haha

and that plaid is not the best to use....imo. use an argyle maybe or a more sophisticated plaid.

okay damn i wrapped it! it just looks like i didn't cause it took some fandangling to fit in on account of the foam i used being thicker than the old stuff and the material is quite fuzzy. after i took the pics i took a plastic puddy knife and pushed in around the edges and it looks really good now.
