Ls400, e39, e34, e28, e24.
Or if your going for originality you could get a caddi. They're pieces of shit from my experience, but there has to be a few reliable choices floating around in the sea of shit they produce. That would be pretty dope. They're really comfortable.

i love the idea of an old XJ6 Jag, but finding one in decent shape, with decent electrics is tough.
i would have to say something japanese will be easier to maintain, but LS400 have been played out.
What about finding an old Crown Vic or Caprice police car from the 80's, and bagging it w/ some funky police accents
may not be that reliable but damn sure cheap/easy to work on.

The more unusual the better, eh?
My vote: Jean Claude Slammed Van

I'm thinking something along these lines....It's certainly big and comfortable

I agree that is a awesome car. the e39 has a special place in my heart. i had a 2000 540/6 as a DD before the Range Rover. drove that car around the country.

I've always had a special place near my heart for the e39. Plus first and foremost I'm a BMW nut-hugger. So yeah, e39 ftw
though, it's not exactly anywhere near "unusual"

but i didn't say i wouldn't stance it. I love big luxury rides. my current DD is a 95 Range Rover lwb classic.
the BMW e23 is on the list (but i have already owned one)
the e38 is nice but not what i am looking for.
the old mercs r an obvious choose
the jags r kool so maybe.
