i love the idea of an old XJ6 Jag, but finding one in decent shape, with decent electrics is tough.
i would have to say something japanese will be easier to maintain, but LS400 have been played out.
What about finding an old Crown Vic or Caprice police car from the 80's, and bagging it w/ some funky police accentsmay not be that reliable but damn sure cheap/easy to work on.
Not stanced yet.

Ls400, e39, e34, e28, e24.
Or if your going for originality you could get a caddi. They're pieces of shit from my experience, but there has to be a few reliable choices floating around in the sea of shit they produce. That would be pretty dope. They're really comfortable.Last edited by Morbid; 06-08-2010, 11:38 PM.

Budget? what is your commute like? I guess reliability doesnt need to be a factor( going by all the jag suggestions)

Actually, did you say no Subaru wagons?
Despite my love for cushy luxury cars I'll always love my old Subaru Forester. It was unusual looking, kind of fun, useful, and had a great sunroof. I was planning on building an STI Forester out of it like Angry Toaster until it was written off in an accident. Who knew stopping at red lights was so difficult for some people?
Angry Toaster's SF5 on the track.
PS: It was reliable as fuck btw, I drove mine across Canada and beat on it like all hell.

ok budget will depend on condition.
The mark VIII is a sick car but it has to be a 4 door.
not by my choose but no wagons.
my commute is short but i drive all over the place.
reliability is a small concern but hey i drive a range rover as a daily now.
