  • my chocolate brown e36 project

hello, first of all. finally I found a cool forum for clean and tire stretched cars. I am from Belgium and crazy about BMW

in august 2009 I bought my 10th e36 coupe and this I wanted it to be totally finished.

    for starters:

    I started like this:

after taking off all the plaster from the car I started to take the car apart. was not much work because there was almost nothing on the car.
The next thing was to take out the motor to clean the enginebay a little bit with this result:

after the enginebay I started with the body and there were a lot of humps and bumps. After 3 months he was ready to paint with this result:

then i started with the brakes( everything is new), everything from the suspension is renewed and at this moment he's lowered with AC-schnitzer coils.
In the future the car will be lowered with adjustable coils because my motto is: TIEF UND BREIT

And I think BREIT and this is no problem with my rims I think:
AC-Schnitzer 9.5x17 with 215/35/17 rims in the front and 11x17 with 235/35/17 rims at the back

this is my interior(will be changed in the next year:

now I am finishing the car and normally within the next month but I will keep you'll posted.
    more pics will follow soon

@osshwa: thanks, the colour is hot chocolat from BMW MINI

@wheelfetish: the rear fenders are self-made, made in "tin" how we call it in Belgium. i don't know the word in english

@globalsunset: at the moment you can't lick because there is a lot af dust on the car. once ready i can finally wash it

for the rest thanks for the good comments

@teh activ: i know it from the back but i have to go to the annual car-inspection and to low is not allowed there, after the control i'm gonna put him on his belly

@525iT-feen: brown is a popular colour here now. my idea to spray it brown was in my head for many years but yes it's a rage at he moment in Europe.

Im really liking this brown movement people are pulling off.

I been wanting to do Root Beer or Rattle Snake for a while but I dont think its gunna be pulled off well on my car.

+1 on that stretch. That is a clean looking stretch!
