ordered a new clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, hard pipe and flex pipe. i had them overnighted since my car doesn't have any clutch pedal feel until it wants to after 15-20 min of highway driving and i drive in the city to work. no clutch pedal + city driving means total PITA.

i am pretty sure it is just one of the items that has failed but i figured i would just replace everything while i was in there

              Oh shit. That's awesome.

I was praying it wasn't on style 5s, and I definitely got what I wanted - well done.

oh hey! yeah that was day one of an epic 10 day trip out west over 3200 miles lots of camping and the bmw was the most reliable of the three cars with us

2003 CRV (was purchased 10 days before trip from dealer)
-A/C went out 40 miles into day one
-Vtech failed and required two days of down time in Bismark ND waiting for parts

                    2005 Audi TT Vert
-A/C failed on the last day
                    -Cruise control failed
-random parts kept falling off (but that always happens)

Nothing went wrong with my car beyond rubbing in the rear but that was solved with a few turns of the coils

well i just got a m52 and i am going to refresh that and then bolt a m50 intake manifold, set of headers, a cone filter and maybe a chip then gonna get my buddy to fab a custom exhaust.

the plan is to just run it on the m50 harness so it should just be a straight swap

decided to do it since i am already putting a new transmission in and since it is going to just be easier to pull the trans and the motor at the same time so i figured this way i can just take care of everything maintenance wise while the motor is out and easy to work on.

plus the added power will make the daily grind much better

i'm currently having a misfire issue, i figure it is either the fuel filter (no idea how old it is), the coilpacks, or the injectors are going but i haven't started testing yet. luckily i have a few friends with e36s so i am going to swap a full set of known good coilpacks and hope that solves the issue and if is does i am going to order a set of bav auto performance coils

oh and i'll be doing a dyno run after the m50 gets sorted so i can get a pre-swap baseline and then one after the swap

Paint those lowers! Either black or white I may be prejudiced, white lowers on a white E36 here.
