thread went ignored for two days because of lame ass title so i tried something different
Anyway, this thread is actually about the annual Porsche club Road america meet last memorial day that i attended.
Went up with the Pops to track our 993 after it being garaged for a year and a half and it saw 20 minutes of track and is now sitting in hotel parking lot waiting to come home
so basically after blowing out 1 brand new rear tire and getting a screw in the other brand new tire a week before the event my dad dished out and replaced both tires which had 15 miles on them it gets better. We get up there, are on the track for 20 minutes when he realizes the driver side rear blew out, so after we get the wheel off my dad wasn't paying and the porsche falls off the jack takes me another 20 minutes in the hot sun with a fever from the night before 
to get the car back up, we throw on the spare and oh yeah we can't drive it 120 miles home, so we leave it at the hotel parking lot 
as we are saying our goodbyes 2 days later we caught up with some of our friends who run an even for their corporation up here and among the gt2's and gt3's they happened to have a 993 with tires we could have used to race instead of waste the weekend
we forgot to ask if we could borrow them to drive home...
their corporation is 5 miles from our house...
great weekend despite all that from what i could tell everyone else was having a lot of fun and we will be back up for octoberfest to redeem ourselves
