  • Rolling on 95s

I never posted pics with the style 95s, the pics are nothing crazy. I need to get a 20mm for the front (15mm now) and put my 15mm in back (8mm now). My boy dutch snapped these on the way to the darkstardubs/gengstout meet last Sunday. I probably won't bother with the spacers right now as I'm switching wheels again within the next month.

I got a picture of your car at the show. Just a shitty cell shot though. Pictures do no justice to this car, it looks amazing in person.

Probably one of my favorite E38s. You can tell it isn't a neglected POS that someone bought not realizing that even though its worth less than $15,000 maintenance on it is the cost of a $80,000 car.

Geoff, I don't know if you remember who I am, but I believe me and you met like 6 years ago when I used to fly from Boston to SLO and drive down to El Mirage for the lake bed meets that me and Eric (projekte36) used to organize. Your username then was smoove1 *sp* I think. It was you guys that really got me into BMWs the way I am today so hats off for trying to keep it clean haha (if I'm mistaken then my bad).

The car is definitely not neglected, but it does need some loving still. Its a car that i've talked of owning for years and now that I finally got my paws on one - I will do it major justice. I'm actually in the process of getting wheels built for it and getting the interior in order, so hopefully by the Liberty VIP meet in July the exterior should be where I want it.

I daresay, this car is on the way to perfection. It already looks baller with those wheels, can't wait to see what you're putting on it soon.

I really, really, really want a 7. Prices are at an all time low over here in Germany, but I looked at insurance for a 740 a few days ago... urghs. More than triple than what I'm paying for my E36.

haha, yea i've ripped quite a few with this car. She spins nicely. It looked sickest when I was doing that at school with VN-lines on the car.

Thanks man, I hope to get it there by mid July and then start focusing on my interior and really saving for the big stuff I have in plan. I need to get a daily beater first so I can manage when this car comes off the road for a few weeks.

And I hear you on insurance. I pay right under $3,000 a year for option two (don't even have full coverage). It cramps my modding money to say the least.
