Old wheels are sold and on their way to their new owner, new wheels are being cut as we speak! 22" x 10.5" fronts, 22" x 12" rears. I went much more aggressive than any of my previous setups. Upwards of 20mm more aggressive in the rear, and 14mm in the front. Teaser pics coming soon!
I'm back on factory Magnum SRT8 wheels, but took a few pics during a recent wheel swap.
Pictures of my buddy's Charger with my old wheels. We couldn't lay it out because he doesn't have rolled fenders, but I liked the look:
Wow. This is just amazing. I would love to have a 300C someday. Really liking the white a lot too!
Thanks! Choosing what color to go with wasn't an easy decision, but as soon as we completed the prep and began to shoot the car, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I made the right choice. Although, not every stage of the process was comforting. lol Only took us 6 days though. A lot of work, but well worth it to make sure it didn't look like this for too long:
I needed a set of wheels to hold me over until I order mine this fall, and this is what I ended up with. 22"x9" front, and 22"x10.5" rear. They're slightly more aggressive than the white wheels were, but still nothing close to what most here are doing. I'm already anxious to go back to a dished wheel. New pics will be up when the new set arrives.
I really want to see what this car would look like with flush wheels or with a slight poke. Can't stand the tuck look .___.
The next set of wheels will be more aggressive, but not nearly to the scale of many here. With my last set of 22's, I was at the mercy of the previous owners offset choices. I'll be able to specify my own specs on the new setup.
Sold those, sold the white 22's, and now I'm back on Magnum SRT8 20's waiting on yet another set of "temporary" wheels until the other's are cut this fall.
Ended up being a LONG install last weekend. Crazy long story, but the most important thing is that it's all done and base tuned! I'm off to DTP in the next few weeks for a final tune/dyno. I'll post the before and after at that point. My buddy's bagged Charger was a total transformation. Can't wait to see where he ends up power wise. His car HAULS!!
I don't have any pics of the heads going in, but they look identical to the stock ones on the outside, just cleaner. They were pretty gutted out compared to the stock heads. Very pleased I did it all at once. It'll be beneficial as soon as my other mods go in.
For comparison, check out the below baseline numbers/graph:
Here's a slip from last year for reference to go along with the above dyno. Car #604 13.10 at 108 MPH:
Gettin' down to it:
Inertia SRT Max Cam going in:
Pinned the crank while we were at it. You know what that means. :
You've been busy Sim. My new tires come in this week and I'm doing some test fits after that. April 2nd, regardless the weather, I'm rolling. I'm tired of this damn snow. lol.
Nice man! Can't wait to see some finished pics with the wheels on. Definitely going to be a super clean look.
