  • 2008 Jaguar XJ - The last of the round-eyed Jags

So I've had this car a couple of months and made a lot of progress. It has:
    - factory air suspension reprogrammed about 45mm lower using dealer software
    - 22x8.5 Rosso Affinity with 245/30/22 with 15mm rear, 5mm front spacing and matching spare
    - 2012 XJR front and rear brake conversion with 380mm and 376mm rotors + matching calipers
    - Full wood-to-carbon fiber interior conversion + S-Type R knob
    - XJR exhaust tips
    - 6000k HID bulbs, 60w LED fogs, angel eye over fogs
    - Mercedes stainless pedal kit
    - Carbon fiber front splitters
    - Backup camera and iPhone aux video into factory navigation unit

Still a work in progress, but here are a few pics. Will add more when the weather improves.

I like the little details but the wheels and angel eyes dont do it for me.

Somehow I have the feeling I've seen this car before years ago.

I actually do like the wheels.
But agree about the angel eyes.

Isn't this the same jag that's been around for awhile on a bunch of different wheel set ups? Confused cause you said you've only had it a couple months but it's the same car with the same "exexpat" license plate. Anyway, I'm not really feeling the wheels

Edit* I'm realizing now that your the same owner but these are not the same cars. Excuse my jaguar ignorance

I should have explained the old car. Yes, I had an X-type before which is about 2 feet shorter and 200 lbs lighter. After 19 sets of wheels on that car, I realized I prefer simple design and oversized 5 spokes. The car currently can't do anything under 20" diameter, due to the big brakes, but given I had so many wheels on my previous Jaguar, these may not be the last ones.

            I love it.
Loved your old X-Type, but like this more.
I still want a XJ of my own, but I'd rather go for the X300/308 ones.

I like what you did with the interior. I wanted to do the same with my x308 xjr. But, I have to sell it.
