  • Bmw e24 635csi

    Hi everyone,

I've recently bought one of my dream cars a BMW e24 635csi.
Didn't had the time yet to take some nice pictures of it as it's not MOT'ed and the roads at the moment are wet and soon full of salt.

So I'm going to take care some of the bits and pieces so it's ready to roll in the spring. My main goal is to take the car on a road trip all over Europe with my mum + enjoy it as much as possible.

    To do list:
-Fix the OBC computer no sign of life (I hope is something to do with the light, luckily the car is RHD and I've read that you can remove the stereo then withdraw the light bar with some nose pliers)
-Interior lights + boot light not working (might be the interior light control relay)
-Passenger side door not closing when window fully up (This could be one of the rubbers or the window/door is out of alignment)
-Remove some of the rust of the tool kit + try to complete it without getting robbed
-Try to figure out why the memory seats are not working
    -Get the A/C working
    -Buy a cover
    -Get it MOT
-Buy cheap covers for the seats
-Polish up or paint front grill
    -Get it polished and sealed
    -Oil & Coolant service
-Buy a small piece of rubber that goes in the door lock
-Take care of the engine bay

    Future to do list
-Do manual gearbox swap (already have most of the stuff to do it)
-Take care of rust in the seals + get it waxoiled
    -Fix sun roof
-Change the wheels for some BBS RC 090 or BBS RS

Thanks for having a look, hope to keep this post going.

It's not 100% clean but It's alright, just minor bits and pieces that need doing.

              Thanks!

It seems that every time I spend more time with it the more things I find that need doing, but that's part of the fun also, to keep me busy!

-Front left fog light not working
-Right hand-side smily headlight not fully working
-Sound system not working (the light on the amp doesn't turn on)
              -Rev counter not working

Here's some pictures of the e30 I had to sale to buy the e24, still hope that one day I will get it back!
