Why so much 1jz no 2jz? If I ever decide to swap a non BMW motor in my car it would probably be a 2j.

well in my eyes.... the E30 m3 is one of the most beautiful well built cars of its time. Seeing a 1jz swapped in and the s14 nowhere to be found kind of saddens me... its not even that its a 1jz. even if it was an s50 s52 m50tu whatever... idk its just the car was built the way it was for a reason.
