Dang that's cool. Because the track was only open for two hours, only the die-hard racers were around. But there were all different kinds of cars, mostly little hot hatchbacks and 911s, and even a VW eurovan that was tearing around! Haha it was sweet.

When I was driving around a Peugeot 806 () passed me with quite some speed (I was just relaxed driving). When he was passed my, I noticed a big aftermarket exhaust underneath and a Nordschleife sticker on the rear.

This was definitely no ordinairy van!

I have 3 videoclips shot by my brother who sat in the passenger's seat. They're a little large, but I might see if I can edit them. The footage is so cool. I love watching it over and over again.

          Now we're at it...

          Cueing up

          Counting down..

          And off..

          E46 M3 vert passing me

There was a piece of road about 150 feet they were working on...

          Xbow again

          Lots of supernice cars...

Back on (the) track (the difference in altitude is amazing in certain parts of teh track. It felt like a rollercoaster ride at times,... only better!)

Going straight ahead here leads to the home straight of the Grand Prix circuit

Just for fun I took my dad in his Fiat Punto for a round...which resulted in lots of smiles and thumbs up from the crowd.

8 Series Alpina, lots of M3's, Porsche's, Lotus...

Red billboard on the left side is where you come out of the last right turn and onto the 2km (1.2mls) straight. (just a shame the entrance and exit are located in the middle of this straight, so no top speed driving there).

          Last shot of the xbow

Just posting these pics...seriously, I'm all hyped up here. Oh just a couple more weeks and I'm there again.

Can you believe this track is just about a 3.5 hour drive from my home!?

          Sweet!

I don't live in Germany (for the record), but in Holland, which of course, is next door.

The track itself is just an hour's drive from the Dutch-German border.
