ive seen one :P in galveston.. takes you to crystal beach.. BUT no low cars can get in... stock s2000 bottomed out on it!

As to the whole track thing being different is what we do. Mike and Ben have offered us a chance to be at a track with an INCREDIBLE scenery that is much better than just a everyday parking lot meet... Stance of the union for example was a great show, great turnout but we ran out of space... I was lucky to meet Ben and off the bat let me park with most other elite cars out there, BUT other cars were over flowing street and other businesses. The track will give us unlimited ideas with photography, videography, and parking itself.. People coming out to spectate will be able to see the concept of our cars but also how a track looks like in person on the track which ive had the luck to see multiple tracks and i love to see the dips turns and think of the engineering taking into it. Your idea of stanced cars not being able to perform on it so why show it there is like saying why show cars at a drift event if they cant drift? or why show cars in a building since you cant drive them in a building? I think its a wonderful idea guys! its going to be freaking A W E S O M E!!!!

I've never seen a car ferry in Texas, either.

You can't fit many cars on a ferry.

Can you think of a cooler and more fun place to have a car show? It's better than a boring parking lot, no?

AT a track sure, but are we really that much of posers? Stance is its own thing, racing/track is a completely different, I just feel like it is sooo silly to have a meet on a track with a bunch of cars that are styled to look like race inspired builds, but MOST couldn't run the track as fast as their stock counterpart. Anyway that's IMHO and my 2 cents, so take it or leave it, I just thought I'd express my view. Good luck with the event, I won't be attending because of geographical complications lol, but I look forward to seeing pics.

    its just another venue

h20 international, probably the biggest audi/vw show in north america, is held at a horse race track... and no one brings actual horses

    again... its just another venue

and i beg to differ on the "MOST couldn't run the track as fast as their stock counterpart"

It's just being held on the track for parking purposes. They are not trying to say they can be tracked or raced or any of that for that matter. Wouldn't you rather park in a track/on the track or on a flat parking lot like a "normal" meet? This way, you can walk around and tour the track if you wanted to...
