I guess that's what he's trying to figure out, lol.

If you're planning on doing the 6 later down the road, you might as well do it now and get it over with, and skip the time/cash/effort on the 4.

My bad, i guess I was trying to see what he meant by a 6 point. If A) he was just adding the lower door legs to a standard hoop (4 pt) or B) he was doing a true 6 point across the roof and into the dash.

If A) then I would definitely add the legs. You have to lift your legs and drop into those seats anyway so the legs won't really make a difference in comfort but will make a difference in stiffness/ rigidity.

If your going for B) then thats a whole other ball game. That can get real sketchy if this driven on the street at all.

such a shame that wheel wont stay like that unless you wear suede gloves all the time.

car is the business though, gives me a serious horn.

              damn clean car.
I voted for a 6 point, by 6 point I'm thinking lower door bars. imho a full cage takes over the whole interior. a bar with with forward legs is plenty of bar for any low/moderate speed drifting you're likely to be doing in any ametur event. plus a full cage can be a PITA to get in if your car is a daily.

Well the only reason I'm planing on putting of the 6-Point is cause I daily it right now. and later would want a more costume one made then rather a purchased one form a dealer

Well to answer your question the 4-Point would be like the pic above with no lower door legs. and the 6-Point is the whole cage roof and all.

Now since you said just adding the lower door legs to the 4-Point I might just do that. I think you solved my problem.. thanks man

I know man, I try not to touch it as much, by placing my hand in the middle..lol.. but I might get another wheel for daily.

NOW!!! what color should I paint it,, was going to do a Hot Rod Flatz Gold. But some one suggested White and I kinda like that Idea. Your opinions are welcomed

Driving it like it was supposed to be driven You know how I feel..love it man!!

Be careful about getting Takata harnesses because from what I have heard that they are not FIA certified and if you are going to be drifting, I do believe that most sanctioning bodies require certified harnesses. If this is the case you may have to two sets of harnesses. I think the Takata harnesses look sick but I personally would go with Schroth

^ what he said about them not being SFI certified.

however, done here in so cal anyhow, most drift events do not require harnesses, let alone SFI ones. if you end up in a competition, then you will need an cert'ed harness, along with door bars.

I'd do a 4pt. I've found that 6pts can be a bit to much in cars that are driven often. I love your Z man.

Looks sick homie!! I think either one would look sexy But just a quick question about the steering wheel. Did you have cruise control or any controls on there before hand? And if so do you miss it? lol
