The original picture was pretty sorry but man you really cleaned that car up. Good job.

Looking forward to what you end up doing next, you have excellent style.

Don't trip about the insurance, I'm sure you'll end up coming ahead if you do it right.

Today I talked to the other drivers insurance. Basically she just took a recorded conversation of my account of what happened. She said she will do the same for the other driving and be in contact with me again. She did say that the police do not determine fault and that the insurance company does. I feel like this is pretty BS because of course the other drivers insurance is going to try to pay the lease amount of money to me. If for some reason the other driver isnt completely at fault I am not sure what will go down next, but I am pretty positive that he will be found 100% at fault.

To alex, I might have a few questions in the coming weeks, its a little early to know what will happen. I did mention some of the work I did and she gave me some bullshit about the car is expected to have working lights with working bulbs and a bumper and such. I dont think she got that I upgraded those parts and didnt just replace non working parts.

Stand your ground and don't let insurance push you around. You can control the situation. I got almost $6k out of my e28, after returning the car to stock I didn't even have to buy the car back. That was a 25 year old car with 400kish miles on it. Im sure you can get more out of their insurance company.

That is impressive. I dont play on giving into any shit that they try to pull. The thought of having to buy back the car that I own is pretty bullshit, I dont want to have to do that. What did you say so that you could just keep it?

Just got back in town from vacation in florida. The insurance adjuster came while I was out of town to look at the car. I havent actually talked to him but it looks like from what he has written down the car is totaled and I am being offered almost 5800 dollars after I buy it back. (6300 minus 850 to buy it back) Not bad considering I bought it 2 years ago for 5200.
