Hello
Some of you from Australia might already know me but for those who don’t:

This is my Space Grey 2009 E91 335i LCI M-Sport, it’s running Airrex struts w/accuair e-level management, the wheels are 19 inch SSR SP3 with Kumho Ku39 rubber. Performance mods are simply a JB4 & Afe intake and it also has a few other cosmetic mods like black kidney grilles and a urethane front lip from somewhere in the US (JL-Motoring maybe). It currently makes 240rwkw but is certainly too quiet with the stock exhaust. I’d like to change that but I’m not sure how much longer I will keep the car.
There were a quite a few goals I set myself with this car’s look and to be honest to get it to sit like this and meet all my requirements took a huge amount of research and measuring. Anyway, here they are:
- Go as low as possible without wheels fouling
- Sit at even sill height front and rear (tucking rim at rear, tyre at front)
- Find wheels that exhibit maximum lip size for width
- Disk type as close to factory callipers as possible so as not to sacrifice lip size
- Retain factory tyre widths with minimal stretch
- Not look like a roller-skate when aired up
- Minimal performance compromise
- Retain factory body lines, no flaring, pumping etc;
I'm not a terrible photographer in general but I'm particularly shit at taking photos of cars. Working in magazines has made me incredibly critical. If you are a weapon on the lens and would like to take some photos of this, I'm in the Sydney area and am happy to travel. Here is a few from the other night.

Cheers, Tim
