IMO you're going about this the wrong way.

The hype of a wheel is not a derivative of its price... The cost is a derivative of their hype. In other words, wheels are expensive because they are popular, not popular because they are expensive. No one has ever made the suggestion that wheels are cooler when they cost more, or that to be "legit" you have to have expensive wheels.

You can buy wheels all day long that are "baller" and are still very cheap. Some quality manual labor and you can have a very nice set of wheels for next to nothing.

I'm always down for people doing new things, but I think there comes a point where you're just making excuses. I don't want to put you down, but the new wheels just look cheap man. The Lexus wheels, even though I wouldn't say are great either, are far far classier.

I'm just sad to see you down grade. You had a serious setup going on before. I can understand needing money, but there's no need to whip out the autozone special.

I hope we see a killer comeback soon. Hell, maybe you'll pull off these wheels and shock us all- I don't doubt you. Do what you want, it's your car. We're here to support that.

But my $0.02- serious downgrade. quite disappointing to say the least. It puts the car on a level similar to every city's "local" crowd. I'm sure you know what i mean.

Ahhh man so sad to see the Works gone but whatever dude you needed money. Cheap wheels dont mean crappy specs though. Grab some sportmaxes or rotas or something(sorry Mike lol). I think they have those xxr521s in 18x10 +25 for like $125 each or something like that.. I dont mind cheap wheels as long as the fitments dope.

i like my reps just fine! sure they may not be the most baller of wheels but they look good and i get compliments on them all the time! maybe when i get some real money and an actual job ill get some baller wheels but for now im gonna stick with reps...
