I'm taking a break due to the fact I simply don't have the time any more to deal with things constantly breaking on lowered cars.

You don't have to take a break from cars to fix this one issue. You could always raise the car a little. To each his own, but I couldn't have my GS an inch off the ground like yours. I already have to drive careful enough at my car you height. My GS has been totally reliable (I've had it for 7.5 years). If you treat it well, it won't break all the time.
