Here's photos of one of my projects, taken last weekend. I'm Jamie, and I run Orchid Euro in the USA, and also help out for Performance VW Magazine in the UK etc.
My Rallye was originally in Germany, then was in the UK for quite a while. I bought it there and then immediately shipped it to the USA and started work on it. My company specialises in shipping European cars and parts to the States, and I'm lucky to have met a lot of Rallye owners on my travels around the world and been able to find some of the rarer parts for it.
Since the car has been here in the USA I have done:
The body still needs to be fully repainted, and I need to build a new exhaust for it as the backbox it came with is pretty 1990s, but phase one of the build is now finished with the car setup and driving how I want it to.

Since the car has been here in the USA I have done:
- Lots and lots of electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- New OEM headlights and turn signals (one indicator was a gift from a Rallye owner while I was visited MIVW).
- Rebuilt OEM G-Lader at Bahn Brenner.
- Developed the Air Lift air-suspension kit, it is running V2 digital management. I won't roll the fenders or otherwise modify the body - the suspension is so I can drive and park it without fear of damage or scraping.
- Made the original Sebring 15" wheels into 17"x8" splits with my friends at Perfect Metal Finishing.
- Retrimmed fake (replica? fake?) Recaro seats using Mk2 Recaro Trophy seats, done by Kip at Love's Trim.
- New OEM floor mats from Ruud.
- And probably a whole bunch more.
The body still needs to be fully repainted, and I need to build a new exhaust for it as the backbox it came with is pretty 1990s, but phase one of the build is now finished with the car setup and driving how I want it to.
