  • Didn't Want to Post This in the Air Section...

Well, I will be redoing my hydraulic setup yet again.

For the amount of time I've been running juice, I have had what is called a two pump four dump setup...pretty much the standard configuration. This setup utilizes one pump for the front, one for the rear and one "dump" or valve per corner. While this is the quintessential setup, it does take up a fair amount of room and is quite limited in its abilities...

I will be soon running a one pump six dump, a VERY unconventional setup, even in the hydraulic world. I have yet to see one in action. This setup uses only one pump but has two three-dump manifolds. One of the manifolds is used for the front corners, and the other for the rear. The reason there are three dumps is because there are two corner valves, and one return valve. Basically I will have individual corner control, and the power of a four pump setup with 1/4 of the hardware

Here's a crude sketch of what it will look like in my spare tire well...completion date is late May. Stay tuned!

I'll keep pushing the envelope until more take my place...

Just a questions... I've always heard the ride on hydraulics was the worst ever... is that true?

I made this video to show how potentially nice hydraulics could be...

Granted this car is set to be VERY SOFT...the pressure inside the accumulators are adjustable, therefore the ride is adjustable.

Is this thing coming out to Wuste?

I'm not sure if this would qualify for Double Down (the air-ride section/class)

how's the handling in a newer car with hydros? ever think about using those regulators or whatever they are that are suppose to let you hit a switch and get a somewhat smooth ride for daily use?
