  • the OTHER Nissan...poke, stretch, tuck content

Yo, what's up guys? I have been a lurker for about 3 months now and I gotta say this is one of the best automotive forums on the net. It's definitely on my schedule of daily activities.

Here is my 50 mile daily driven 2006 Nissan Sentra Spec V commuter. I got this car almost 2 years ago and I love it, no matter how much ppl talk smack about Sentras. The works:
Ksport Control Pro coilovers, Rota D2s F: 17x7.5 +35 with 20mm spacers R: 17x8.5 +25 with 205/40 all around. AEM CAI, XS power header, midpipe, Ebay Hi low cat and resonator custom side exit exhaust (under the rear passenger side door), polyurethane motor mounts, 75 shot nitrous kit with NOS solenoids, purge, NX bottle heater and a 20lb bottle, DynoTune RPM window switch and AF lean cut off switch, tuned by SAFC II. The car was dynoed at 234hp and 273tq on a 4wd dyno (i forgot which one). I made the lip from an Ebay 02-04 GXE lip. Please forgive for the crappy pics.

Hope you guys enjoy and comments are welcome.

    The bottle

That bottle is ENORMOUS. While I am not a fan of this body style Sentra, I like what you have done with this.

Stance isn't bad, and I am sure it pulls HARD when using the spray.

Not really a fan of this generation sentra either, but can appreciate what you have done here. What is the deal with the lip tho? I know it is from a different car, but you couldnt straighten it out in the middle there? It seems like if you do, the side will push out too far, maybe? You should try to cut a little out of the center and plastic weld it back together and then repaint it... I think if that lip was straight, it would look so much better... good job tho

Yeah not feeling the lip... But the rest of it is nice. My buddy drives that generation sentra too, and I've learned to like them.

Ever thought about the mach 1 mustang lip? It looks great, and I hear there's little to no cutting needed to make it fit.

While the NOS is a little much IMO, there isn't a whole lot of traction with this car to begin with, let alone with the VQ swap...

Sertra, good to see you made it over from the B15 forum. You're gonna like it here. I Hope you don't mind if I model my stance after yours at the end of the summer; I gots big plans When it comes to B15's, yours is one of my favorites.

BTW, where did you get your grille? I need this in my life

thanks guys!! I knew I would get some raised eyebrows but I knew this place is open minded. The VQ swap would be sick. I actually have seen a video of a VQd Spec with a 75 shot break into 10s. But like Bracknophobia said the traction is crappy and I drive this thing every day year around. I already have the RMP window switch set to lock out nitrous in 1st gear. The grill is another Ebay item. I actually just put it on last weekend. Thanks again.
