  • Touring content - are you envy? xD

    Hi from Germany.
I'm Christian and this is my new ride. Bought it in April 2010 and sold my old E36 316i.
Its a 98 318i with a lot of stuff onboard.
Has M-Technic all around and it's Avusblau.
Rims are AC Schnitzer replicas by RH.

    New Pictures:

    I know: Needs more low.

    And then yesterday this happened:

+a damaged lip and hit-and-run of the other driver. Asshole.

Welcome. Nice to see another german Touring on here!

The car has lots of potential. The color is spot on.

Lower it! Should be the first thing on your list once you get the funds, imo. A nice set of coils (Wenn du dir bei DTS ein DTS-Line Gewinde bestellst, kriegst du ein AP-Gewinde im DTS-Karton... das AP fahr ich selber, geht ziemlich tief, fährt sich richtig gut, sehr gute Verarbeitung und ist wenn mans bei DTS bestellt sogar bezahltbar - um die 300€, glaube ich) and you're set. Some smaller tires (or at least lower profile) for the wheels, some spacers and it looks proper.

    Suggestions:

-Get some other bulbs for the front turns, I have the same turns with some other bulbs, mine are nearly invisible in comparison to your way blue bulbs.

-Get some stock fogs and smoke them yourself (open them up and paint all the unecessary areas black), see my Touring for how this looks.

Can't wait to see what you do with this, the car has got lots of potential.

What did you pay for it, if I may ask?

First i have to get a job then i'm going to modify the car.
And i think after the summer i need a new set of tires. tires on the back are pretty much done *drifting is fun^^*
      I thought about DIY-fogs. It's an option.
Also thought about changing my old orange bulbs into the new corners.

I payed like 4800Euro or 6390bucks. A good price for it.

Hey,by the way: I'm also on www.bmw-syndikat.de Same name there.

I can relate... when my apprenticeship is done, I'll most likely be in the same situation.

Get some different sizes then, so they don't look so chunky!

If you bought it at a car dealer, the price was okay. If you bought it from a private seller it was a bit too much.

In comparison: I paid about 3800€ for my 323i with lots of options - but it had some rust issues and relatively high mileage. If yours was from a private seller, it should have been somewhere around 4000, imo.

        Found ya!

I like this size. But it may handicap my acceleration. Can't get over 197km/h. Downhill about 208km/h. Sucks man.

Yeah, i wanted to buy the car for 4300, because it has just one dent. But he said he bought it for 4800 and put a lot of money in it. so it was his "kotzgrenze" (puke-border^^). Car has just 122000km or 195200miles on the odometer. pretty good. but the rims on the rear are a little bit crappy.

Car comes now with stickers, rusted tank cover an gt-corners. Have to make some pics, but need a proper camera.

The other day i photoshoped a stance i like. In reallife that means front: -10cm back: -7cm
Makes a groundclearance of about 5cm (bottomside of the gt-corners).
I already asked Dr.AK but i want to have some other opinions. Do you think it's driveable, because all the stuff like oilpan, diff and so one will be even lower i guess.

                      Some pics for your imagination.
                      Real pic:

                      Fake pic:

*rims are white, dunno how to do that properly in PS + too lazy to finish my work*
