Car looks neat. I don't understand why you would want to run a staggered fitment on a fwd, but it's your car(and don't say because of the price). I'm interested to see the outcome.

Well my goal is to stance the car and fill the wheel wells. I have more room in the rear to do that than in the front, hence the staggered fitment. Plus, i don't track or autox the car or anything like that so I don't think it matters. It's just my daily driver.

Another 3 here! I've seen your car on m3f. The wheels are great! But don't you think they stick out too much in the rear?

205/40 seems to be TOO small tire. It will make wheelgap huge along with front lip touching the ground. I guess 215/40 is optimal for using with coilovers.

dude... i think you're missing the point just a little bit. smaller tires would make more wheelgap, yes, but he's talking about coilovers, so that would allow him to just go lower. looks like there's plenty of ground clearance for that. and the lip on the ground is a plus on this site too lol.

Kaze, keep it up. the car is looking great so far. body color and wheel color are on point and with a couple little changes I think the stance will be as well

I have the same car as Kaze and I know that when he puts coilovers on and drops the car to the level that allows him to avoid wheelgap with stretched 215/40 tire, his GV lip will be on the ground So my opinion it is better to stay with 215/45 and make a maximum drop with this setup. I've seen Mz3s with 215/40 and the wheels look ridiculously small in its' wheelarches.
Just imagine that even non stretched 215/40 tire is already 1.3" smaller than stock setup. With stretch the difference will be about 1.5".

LOL you're like one of the few that noticed my fender is a little burned. It was from when I decided to test fit my wheels and it was rub a dub dub for like 3 days until i got my fenders rolled and pulled and destroyed my tires lol
