The Porsche had an 1/8th inch piece break off the piston ring and score up cylinder 1, and then get caught inbetween the head and piston. So the motor was toast. Added up the numbers, and I was better off parting it out so it is currently undergoing that .

I got the Z4 just to have something nice and reliable while I am in school and working full time, so it will stay relatively stock for a bit, then have some big plans for it later on. Would like to get exhaust done first, and then wheels and tires/suspension down the road, however I don't have too much cash to throw at it for a bit. I am loving it as is though.

Thanks man, I was actually looking at e36 M3's and was going to get one, but once I test drove the Z4 it just felt right.
