right now I have 205/45s semi-stretched on an 8 inch wheel and had no uneven stretch. lets just hope all goes well with the 205/40s

I recommend the NT555's. The NeoGens stretch a lil funny sometimes due to having a different tread pattern from one side to the other. NT555's stretch evenly across. Just my experience. Nitto all day though regardless.

What size have you been running? Just a thought... look at the load index of what you've been running as your car has some weight to it and you are running a decent stretch... worth looking into at least

i totally agree about the generals. my girlfriend ran generals on her s4 with no stretch on her 19's and the sidewall blew apart on 3 different occasions for no reason. pressure was fine and she drives it like a grandmaOriginally posted by e30_fiend View Posthttp://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=215
you'll thank me later.
Honestly though, these tires have held up to -4deg camber up front and -3.5deg in the rear for 20k miles and wear basically flat all the way across. And for the price, you really cant beat it. Dont go the General route either man, my buddy ran a 235/35-19 and that thing blew apart on a 10 inch rim. His shoulder came apart when he was doing 75 on the freeway. no bueno.
BTW, great lookin car man.

(air in the tyre heats up, expands and the pressure rises)
it was at 35, which is lower than the 40-45 i usually keep it at, but acceptable psi.
i filled it up to 40ish before the drive
