  • Wannabe Civic Coupe

So, been following StanceWorks for a while, love the cars that get churned out over in America, and of course love it when a UK car gets featured every known and then.

I'm down at G-werks every known and then, not only 'cause their cars are ridiculous, but that's where i get my paint done. All arches have been rolled and pulled to give an inch extra room, custom front-end, and as far as i know i'm the only coupe rocking it so far.

Doors and rear end are next on the hit list for the body shop, but this is how it'll sit for a bit.

I'll be the first to admit that i'm a long way of some of the quality on here, and i know XXR's are like "eurgh" in America, but in the UK they are actually quite expensive and quite un-common, so will do for now.

    16x8 et15 all round

Thats clean as hell. Maybe its just the angles of the shots but looks like it could use a bit more low.

I like how you did the whole EK thing with your front bumper.

Sick! My buddy's got a white sedan just like yours.. I'm pretty much modding it for him and so far we've slammed it and slapped on those same xxr's in 16x8 +20 205/40s.. What's your suspension set up? any camber arms?

Sadly, my camber arms already hit the inside of the shock tower (as you call it lol) so going low really isn't an option, phyiscally. If i could, i would so much as it really needs to go lower.

When i get more stretch on the rear i could go lower on the rear and pull out the camber a bit to get the lip at the same vertical angle as the arch looking down. Looks ok from the rear, but from above it's still lacking a bit.

Yup, i cut the normal Civic grilles out of the bumper and placed some facelift EK side grilles in there instead, body shop finished it off.

I'm running MeisterR super low coilovers, designed to deck the car, and CyberSpeed camber arms front and rear, Function 7 lower arms. -3.5 degrees up front, -2 or something to the rear.

Cheers all, and believe me when i can go lower, it's going haha.
