    Thinks the 9's are fine, just need less offset, but if you can get 10.5 for rears by all means necessary, go for it

                I think it is the offsets of the rims you have. My front 18x8.5 look much wider than your 9's simply because of how concave they are. I sold two of my fronts to a guy with a E36 and he ran them as rears because his fronts were higher offset and more even faced. The concave fronts I sold him now give him a much better stance overall.

                Here is a picture of the car that I am talking about. His rears are 18x8.5 ET22 and were extra front rims that I had and sold to him.
