Woot, the pics that I ordered from Killboy.com came today! Love them.

Cars were dirty by time we got to the Dragon, rained on the way. 3 of us from the Downriver Crew took our cars down there. And we even made the Killboy Blog!


We were being slowed down by bikes (cruisers) oh how I **** them lol.


Those two are from the only time that we were able to drive "spiritedly" past Killboy. Car really amazed me at how well it can handle.

Once again slowed up by bikes.


Last run through, drove more relaxed and in a group. Last shot is the one that made it into the blog.

Yup, that has inspired me to post mine. I can't wait for next year if I actually follow through with the money saving plan.

Just picked these up today and wanted to share cuz im so stoked about it. They're legit and I got a hell of a deal, now to just get proper sliders and get them in.

Yea, euro rear is one thing I'm considering, I've actually tried putting the arms on a couple times but the outer bolt on both sides started stripping.

not decided on rear size yet. fronts ill be doing 205/45, rear I might do same, or do a 215/45 and have a slightly wider/taller tire in the rear.

h&r's dont have helper springs. I have about an inch of thread left on the front.

Oh yea forgot to comment about your future plans....they are all perfect. Rear needs to be Euro though

You'll be happy with the SPC camber arms. I have them and the adjustment is more then enough. I run 215/40s on my 9s. I think it's the perfect amount of stretch personally. I'm wanting to get just a tad lower in the rear. You still have your helper springs up front?

Yup yup, roll calls are a relatively new thing all around, I dont think they've posted pics of their cars with them yet.

No prob man. I have camber arms that I need to put on, but need spacers first so I have room to adjust. Forgot about those two on the list of plans.

What size tires are you running? With my winter set up I was about an inch lower, and had about and inch of rake. I'd like to get back to sub 23 again, just gotta adjust. Seems like on our cars, with 17s 23 is just about the limit, not quite but its a good low drivable height. I'd imagine wiht the 16s I can go a lil lower, but tire diameter is still same as most with 17's.

Yea when I turn my camber in my 9s cut a hole through my rear shock dust cover too. Thanks for all the info. The rear of my Focus is at 23 3/16" on KW coilovers with the adjusting cups removed. I'm on 17s though. I would think you would be lower then 23" with that cut coil, but maybe it's due to the tires your running.

Oh it's easy to register for AFN. Just go to their site and follow it to AFN info and you will see it. You just have to fill out a little info, doesn't take long. Last year I was the only one with a Euro "stanced" Focus there, but this year there is going to be a bunch of us!

3 of the 4 downriver MI foci have roll calls actually.

Well, due to the cutting and welding process in widening, its not a true 9 inch, loses about a 1/16 according to the shop, so it just barely clears. When I installed the AGX's the right rear wheel actually rubbed on the plastic dust cover for the shock until it cut it. Now it clears fine! lol.

I bought the coilovers "used". Could tell they were never actually installed, but dude had lost the adjustment perches. So I'm running no perches with one cut dead-coil. Car actually sits at right about a dead 23" at all four corners for ground to fender. Its going lower, just one of the adjustment nuts up front is being a bitch and I said screw it for now.

Uhh, direct future mods as of right now are svt mirrors with chrome caps, install my svt door handles, and svt front bumper and side skirts. (local seller on bumper and sideskirts and he's not sure if he wants to sell right now, he doesnt have a rear and I'm not sure where I wanna go with that yet.)

Yea I'll be at the Ford Nats, I cant wait, soo pumped. I gotta figure out how to register, keep forgetting to look.
