i want to build a slammed e30 so bad...but i don't feel like fucking around and modifying coilovers...correct me if im wrong but you do need to modify the struts in the front to get a height like that on an e30 correct?

Both of them are running KW V1's iirc, so no. If you run a coil over kit like GC sells then yes you will.
