When you see a New Beetle, what do you normally think of? A girl driving, some flowers in the dash and those daisy wheels right? Brandon Chasins Beetle without a doubt does NOT fit this discription (Socal).
He recently changed the whole look of the car by running Rotiform BLQ’s on Nitto NeoGens, which fit perfectly flush and really set the car off!
Another recent addition is the Airlift Suspension, which many dubbers are moving over to Airride as a method of allowing the car to still be drivable and being able to maintain the perfect stance! Most of these shots were taken in the industrial areas of downtown LA.
Exterior:
Shaved hood and trunk emblem, 3rd brake light
Color-Matched reflectors and turn indicator
Volkswagen Black Magic Pearl mirror, roof, and spoiler (which has been disabled)
Painted headlight bezel
Interior:
OEM Turbo S 2-toned leather bucket seats
Color-match painted interior accessories
Integrated Boost gauge in center A/C vent column
Beetle Turbo S Monster Mats
Black suede headliner
Engine:
Greddy FMIC
Integrated TurboXS RFL
Custom exhaust
AWE Tuning Stage-4 Clutch with 8lbs flywheel
Suspension:
Air Lift air ride system with full digital AutoPilot managment
Wheels/Tires:
Rotiform BLQ 5×112 19×8.5 et 45 with custom-made Adaptec adapters
Nitto NeoGen 215/35/19
“If it wasn’t for the Airride we wouldn’t have been able to drive around these areas at all” Ignatius McCarthy told us. The roads were so bad that if the beetle was still on a static drop Brandon would have cracked his oil pan open for sure. Enjoy guys.
