Well used to have a pearl white corrado then had a mk3 Golf G60 and always fancied a VR6 and found this fine example about 2 years ago, only 1 owner with 65k mikes on it, paint work was poop as it was sat for 6 years, at 1st was not going to change much but one thing lead to another
Here's few pics from the last year
Here's the 1st few pics when I got it home
Engine still needs a good clean up
Coilovers and wheels on and all red rears
Rear and debadged
Also gave the engine a quick clean
Before
After
Quick pic from edition last year
Here's a little update
A shot from a recent meet
Then I smashed the sump plug off a few days later
All fixed
Had the wiper hole smoothed out
Well decide to go down the air ride route, picked up a kit cheap, needed new bags and got them rebuilt at the same time at rayvern,
So car in its new home for a while
Strip it down last week
Went for suede in the boot build and sprayed the tank crackly grey
Water trap fitted
Chassis notch done
Front bags in
Rear bags in and lines ran
Boot getting there
Wiring
Switches and gauges mounted
1st time ran and pretty happy how it sits
Just all the fine tuning left to do
Gauges
Boot
Aired up
I did have 10mm spacers on the rear so fitted 5mm spacers and it fits better on the rear now
Aired down
Few changes to the car biggest being the wheels
Trail fitting
All new tyres fitted and cleaned
Then the car went of to the bodyshop to have bonnet, roof with Ariel taken out and smoothed and rust on the rear quarter done
Picked it up today and fitted wheels
