  • I honestly couldn't think of a clever title.....

Some of you most likely will not approve of this, some of you might enjoy it. I'll keep the intro short......

This is my 2011 Suzuki GSXR 600, yea i know why the hell would any one do this to a 600??? Well my last motorcycle ( had 5 prior to this one ) was a Suzuki Hayabusa. I had to get rid of it before i killed my self, that bike was a bit too much for me. I figured with a young child at home, doing close to 200 mph at every chance i could, was not the smartest of ideas. I have zero self control with motorcycles. So with that said.....

Had a bunch of cars and bikes in the past, I am very big on OEM+ with all of my builds. So when this bike was being built, I wanted to keep it as factory looking as possible while adding a subtle amount of mods.

    2011 Suzuki GSXR 600

RC Components Factory replica rear wheel 300mm wide
Myrtle west swing arm with 6-8'' adjustable stretch
Rear lowering links and adjustable center rod
    Full Taylormade exhaust
    Power commander
    Avon Venom rear 300mm tire
Had the wheels powder coated white as they would be from factory
The swing arm was painted blue to match the factory frame color
    Cut and wrapped seats
    Rear "Wave" rotor
    Front factory Brembo brakes

I think that big rear wheel/tire so far back looks weird.

Understandable, it's not every ones cup o' tea. On this model GSXR, they actually shortened the entire bike by a few inches. Even the tail section was shortened by a few. So even with a tiny stretch, it gives the look of being way out, when it's really not.

I love stretched bikes, but does it still corner?

I haven't gotten the chance to really push it yet. It does remind me of my Hayabusa though, being heavy and really having to lean into it.
