  • Bagged E90 M3

... and soon to be caged and fitted with Recaros.

I went with a full Airrex kit with the AMS because I've seen nothing but positive reviews about them. And big thanks to Wilson at AirwerksUSA.com for the kit. The management system comes in a complete wired box. Its a plug and play suspension. Easy as 1-2-3. I'm absolutely happy with them and they ride so much smoother than my coilovers. Presets for pancaked out, ride height, and raise height for the bumps.

    Enjoy!

Definitely an insanely sexy looking e90. Equips look on point and those bags look like your laying all frame. Did you have to notch frame at all or were they straight throw 'em in? Either way, kudos on kudos man.
You heading to bimmerfest in two weeks? I would love to see this thing in action

e90 m3 + cage + bags makes no sense at all to me...

But that looks absolutely fantastic, well done. I have the same seat in my e30, super comfy as long as you aren't fat.

Why? You can drive and even track a bagged car (whether or not that's what this particular car will be doing).

I just hope he tracks it a few times when it's done. Just so bag ****** can stfu

Sorry, but I believe the inverse is true. I understand completely.

I suppose it all depends on your approach to modding cars. I come from a racing background, I setup race cars for a living, and I can tell you for sure that the relationship as an airbag (spring) and shock does not work as well as a linear spring and a shock that's valved for that spring.

That said, I don't want to start this argument here because the OP's car is clearly awesome, I shouldn't have said what I said because it's his car and is modded to his tastes, not mine. Yes, bags work on the track, the Airrex stuff is definitely the best of the options out there for people who want a bagged car and still want to drive it hard.

I was just saying that a car of this caliber, that is tracked enough to need a cage and fixed back seats would not be on airbags if it were my car. No-disrespect intended, that's the best looking e90 m3 I've seen

Looks great!! When you installed your rear bags, did you have to do anything? I have these same bags for my car but haven't installed them because I hear the rears will rub. Do you not have any problems?
