  • Porsche 968 | The enthusiast

I'd like to introduce to you my new project car. I've had it about a year and wanted to share a quick video and pictures a few buddies took on a rainy weekend in Vancouver. My wheel/tire package is of the meaty variety but i'm sure should be worthy for you true enthusiasts. My previous project was a euro-spec (JDM) E36 M3 and I can tell you it's not half the car the 968 is

Mark took us out with his Porsche 968 to enjoy the rain in Stanley Park. What a unique car. Wish I could have got more footage, but the weather was absolutely terrible.…

fair enough, it's fully cranked down with the current setup. To go lower I would need to go full coilovers f/rand remove torsion bars. Thanks for the positive comments guys.

... and to add to that, the car is corner weighted perfectly front to back and side to side, even 800 on all four corners. Running low is a priority but driving experience is number 1.

I've always liked these and those Mitos look good! Just wish the lips were bigger

I really like it. It has a sort of Japanese feel because it is so considered and clean and purposeful, and white! Wouldn't look out of place over there at a meet.

Enjoy it, it's the perfect height for what it is.

Cool video. Stanley Park is a great location and the wet weather shows what it is like here in BC during most of the winter time.

Interesting ride. I really don't know much about the 928/944/968 so this was informative too. I can see you are running spacers so rebuilding the OZ wheels with bigger lips would do wonders for the look!

Yes, yes and yes. Picking a time for this shoot was near impossible with the weather we've had lately... Some of the rolling shots were shot up Mt. Seymour road while snowing.

You've got a good attention to detail, the plan is to definitely rebuild these sometime in the summer. It's my only set of rims so have some logistics to work out. I'm running 21mm rear and 15mm front so should be able to get some nice dish.

With these being a 2 pce rim can any of you tell me what my options are? Will this be a cut and weld affair? Or can someone like Rotiform help me out?

Thanks! The interview we did at the end of a pretty long day and shot it unscripted with no retakes so honestly turned out better than i thought. Jonny @ BoxOne Collective wanted to try a "Petrolicious style' for the first time to add an element to their videos they haven't done before. Appreciate the props everyone
