Chris, I think it's more your height than anything. You're at a fairly functional ride height now. It LOOKS like you're running a similar tire setup to me, but you're not as low as you used to be. Shane did something similar with his G before he did bags and Kranstons. I think it works. And most G/Z guys are scared to run 18's anyway. We're a dying breed.

I freaking love it. And always wanted a set of RS. The car is clean. The wheels are clean. Even if they don't look clean together, hopefully people can appreciate the work.


Gonna keep fine tuning it. These CCW wheels are obviously 18's, but I understand there won't be any other setup with faces as small as mine. This is the "look" I'm going for... But there is no way around my 18's not looking like 18's unless maybe I paint them all black or something.

the only real issue here is the wheel gap IMO. Fix that problem and it will look awesome.

If anything, it's just your ride height. It looks good to me!

The CCWs also rock a large step down, not the typical 1". (I think it made the faces 14" or 15"), so they also have tiny faces. But I got it to look better by just slamming the car.

I agree about the ride height. Bring it down and I think it'll all flow great!

Lower it a bit, maybe a spacer and get the flat center caps.

Looks good, not cookie cutter. I **** the "standard mods" done on certain platforms. No longer looks modified if everone has done the exact same thing...

^ Agree'd. The G35 platform has gotten incredibly dull. There's few left trying to be original.

I actually really like the small wheels, but it could be a bit lower, that would help pull off the undersized wheels. (I wish I had gotten 16s this year instead of 17s) It's nice to see something on the g35 besides huge negative offset 19s/20s ,+1 for originality!
