What's up guys!
Here's my 1979 Toyota Pickup. It has a 20-R motor with the factory manual 5-speed. I bought it from the original owners widowed wife with 98,000 miles. Had a whole lot of sentiment to her. Sorry for the Iphone pics not the best....
This truck has been built on craigslist and junk yard specials in friends garages late at night with whatever tools we have. I assume that is the case for a lot of people on here. Keeping it cheap. I am a student and work only part time, so funds are on the low with a girlfriend succubus and a tits Buell XB12SCG as other interests.
EXTERIOR:
-4x4 Front and rear fenders rolled and pulled
-Trimmed bedsides for clearance
-Duck bill
-Antenna delete
-Billet Mirrors
-Solid rear window swap
-Old school TEQ center caps
-15x10 et -38
-195/45r15's
-Summit bedmat
-Billet chrome lugs
-Wiper delete(SoCal)
INTERIOR:
-Datsun buckets
-Ammo can speakers
-Burberry door panels
-Wood n' Chrome steering wheel
-Sun shade headliner
SUSPENSION:
- Deep C-notch (solid rear axle)
-3rd member notch (driveshaft)
-Mono leafed with flipped overload
-4" blocks and U-bolts
-Monroe rear air shocks
-On board air compressor(static, only to stiffen for hauling)
-84-88 suspension swap
(uppers, lowers, caster rods, rotors, calipers, spindles)
-Ball joint flip with spacers
-Toxic front drop shocks
-4x4 torsion bars re-keyed
ENGINE:
-Desmogged
-EGR delete
-Heater Delete
-PCV delete
-Weber 38/38
-Electric fuel pump
-Offenehauser intake manifold
Things to come:
-Pacesetter header(on backorder still)
-Advanced timing / retune
(motors run stock at 8*; Can advance to 30*+ without pings)
-Custom exhaust
-Rebuild
-Cab swap
-Paint?
-Rad.+Fan

And here is how it started.

Cheers!
